Traditional Turkish 22 carat bracelets are produced with the idea that they can be exchanged for money, without much depreciation in value, if difficult times arise. Sevan Bıçakçı sees the opposite, hoping those hard times never come and that the bearer may always keep their bracelet. He thus makes each bracelet unique with varying ornamentation. The snake figure he uses represents light, healing, and wisdom.
